Job Overview:
The Host/Cashier is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly professional manner this individual is also responsible for accurate cash handling of and the recording of revenues for the food outlet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cashier must possess the ability to adequately complete required forms and handle cash transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Must be friendly and courteous at all times
  • Must report to work station as scheduled in proper uniform and ready to work
  • Shall greet Guests in a friendly professional manner
  • Seats guests quickly and efficiently following proper scripting procedures
  • Maintain a warm and inviting phone demeanor at all times
  • Knows the menu offerings and hours/days of operation
  • Communicate with dining room team to ensure effective meal service, and transition times for guests satisfaction
  • Must have and maintain a stable, positive background and be able to assume responsibility
  • Keep all menus and/or tabletop advertising clean and in good condition
  • Ensures the physical condition of the premises, including their immediate work station, are maintained in a clean, safe, healthy manner
  • Pay out all server gratuities accurately
  • Ensures that all applicable Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to at all times without deviation and be extremely knowledgeable of the Minimum Internal Control Standards
  • Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
• Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this position
• Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to established dress code at all times
• Must possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctuality
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Willing to work odd and irregular hours
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a   requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
